The Wreck, very grateful for the patronage of our customers, and desiring to create a memorable and enjoyable dining experience for all, maintains the following policies:


 

1. Does The Wreck accept reservations or call-ahead seating?

  • The Wreck is not set up to handle reservations or call-ahead seating. However, we will try to work with you to accommodate large parties.

2. What methods of payment does The Wreck accept?

  • The Wreck accepts cash or approved personal checks. We cannot accept credit cards.

3. Can diners split their tickets?

  • The Wreck does not permit split tickets. Of course, parties may split their tickets among themselves.

4. What about smoking or cell phone use?

  • For the convenience and greater enjoyment of our customers, neither smoking nor cell phone use is permitted in the dining area. Smoking and cell phone use is limited to the outside area (e.g., the dock, front porch, parking lot).

5. Are there any special considerations for large parties?

  • For large parties of 8 or more diners there will be an automatic 20% gratuity added to the check.

6. Is The Wreck air conditioned?

  • The Wreck has a screened-in porch for the dining area. In the late spring through mid fall months the dining area is naturally air conditioned by the surrounding air, ceiling fans and prevailing breezes. During the winter months, the porch is sealed up to provide a cozy dining area warmed by a furnace and two fireplaces.

7. What is the dress code?

  • The Wreck's dress code is casual. Of course, shirts and shoes are required.

8. Does The Wreck have a children's menu?

  • The Wreck does not offer a children's menu. Nevertheless, children who like seafood seem to enjoy The Wreck a great deal.

9. When is The Wreck closed?

  • The Wreck is closed on certain holidays throughout the year. Please contact the Wreck to verify on which holidays we are closed.

10. Does The Wreck provide gift certificates upon request?

  • The Wreck will provide gift certificates upon request. Please contact The Wreck directly in person, by telephone or by email to make these arrangements.
